Just checkin in...

It's been a little while since my last post I know. My girlfriend, has now become my ex-girlfriend, and I've been pretty down. She broke up with me by text message folks. It sucked. Happened Friday, had to take back her valentine's day gifts, and I looked like a freakin idiot! So, anyway, I'm gonna take a little more time before I start blogging again because I just don't feel much like blogging. Guess this where not having many readers is a plus. I won't be letting to many people down.

Party brownies, anyone?

So, I couldn't leave without having posted the best scene of the episode too... Anybody have any pot brownies with a side of super hot partying lesbians?

Superbowl of lesbians, part deux

So, my Patriots lost, boo to New York and Eli Manning, just boo! The halftime show was pretty good, there was no last dance with Mary Jane, but we got to rock out to some American Girl and Free Falling, so I was content. The commercials were a vast improvement from last year, but did anyone check out the Danica Patrick commercial on GoDaddy.com? Don't waste your time. Sometimes Fox has good eyes when they reject a commercial! Oh, and my girlfriend relapsed with her pneumonia, so we didn't have our own private super bowl party. I watched it with my mom instead. So, overall the Superbowl was no where near as much fun as it could have been (wink, wink)!

Anywho, all was redeemed with the L Word last night, so the day wasn't a total bust. Those party brownies finally appeared and despite the appearance of penis, pot brownies are an idea they should revisit in the future! The whole Tibette situation has just become awkward, but I'm not surprised in the least bit. Kinda expected it. Alice was for once not a bitch to Max, but in turn, was a bitch to Tasha (which also didn't surprise me, we all knew it was coming eventually right?), and the basketball player guy, although, I guess, he kinda had it coming! We got some great Alice Shane moments which I was thrilled about cause I thought those were never gonna happen again. And Shane's glorious tits were everywhere in this episode. I really don't like those SheBar owners, They're major bad news (even though one of them is the reason for Shane's tits in one scene). Not only were they party buzz kill, but they were already using all of Kits ideas on their "night life" bar. So, boo to them!
The Lez Girls cast is kinda scary, Alice and the girl who plays Alyce were hilarious! Shawn, who's adamant about how much of a lesbian she isn't was super funny, and Jenny fucked herself... kinda! That bitch is crazy! I'm a little bit leery of Jenny's assistant though from the last clip of her. I mean, Max brought it up, so it wasn't my idea to be leery of her, but her reaction to Jenny and Nicky in the closet was kinda odd. Here's the end of the episode which shows her reaction, Shane's tits, penis (avert your eyes lesbians!), and many other high points of this episode.

Superbowl of lesbians

Sounds like a place I want to be! However today is the day when we all gather around our tvs and watch a bunch of men run around with a ball. We also watch new commercials for the first time, and half-time entertainment that since the Justin Timberlake, Janet Jackson boob reveal has been anything but spectacular. However, this year I'm hoping for the commercials to jump back up to par (cause last years were disappointing), and Tom Petty is doing halftime so I have high hopes. We also get a new episode of the L Word tonight which I know everyone is looking forward to after that kiss between Bette and Tina!

Oh yeah good stuff! Also looking forward to what Shane has in store for us tonight... She broke off her oh so painful relationship with celibacy last episode too! Wahoo!
You know how Jenny started off the show as a small town girl who was very sheltered to the ways of the world, and then she snapped and went crazy??? I think I found a video purely by accident on YouTube that encompasses the reason why Jenny is so loony tunes in the head.

So, I'm off to get ready for a date with my girlfriend, but we all know that day that's looming around the corner in just a few days, well, AJ's posted a new video of advice just for that day. (Have I ever mentioned that if things don't work out with my girlfriend and I manage to end up in California this is the girl I'll be looking for? Oh so hot!) Hope you enjoy!

The L Word

I never got around to that L Word Blog, the events of last week were very tiring, and this weeks half over and due to my worrying about my girlfriend's health (she has walking pneumonia, and we are waiting to hear from the doctor to find out if she is diabetic) I have yet to blog about this weeks L Word. So without the use on YouTube (mostly) I have these things to say. Shane all girlified in the Charlie's angel spoof = HOT! I like that Kate anyway I can get her, she can butch it up, femme it down, take it off (my personal favorite choice) or bundle up as an Eskimo and I'm down! Just as long as I can see her! I'm a little grouchy that we haven't had a lot of good best friend moments with Shane and Alice so far this season, since Alice and Tasha are having the problems they are, I really thought that Alice would run to Shane more, instead Shane is playing besties with Jenny, and it's annoying! So is Jenny! Oh My Lesbian Gods! Could someone please bitch slap her?!?! GRRR! Let's see what else do I have to say before I get to the big event of this week... Oh, yeah Bette is doing great with that sign language. She should get a girl scout badge or something for that! Seriously! Also, I am quite upset with the way Alice has been treating Max. That's not cool Alice! So enough of the small talk, big news on the Tibette front. I never realized I was a fan of them getting back together until that kiss! Damn that was a good kiss! I'm gonna need my girlfriend to kiss me like that the next time I see her, lol! For reals, people! For reals... Mmmmm!
So anyway, I can't leave you without a video... Here's AJ's latest, this butch girl is Ha!larious, check out the rest of her vlogs!

RIP Heath Ledger

Photobucket

It's been a sad week, folks. The one man I would have gone straight for has passed away at an all too young age.

The following is an article from CNN.com:

NEW YORK (CNN) -- Relatives of Heath Ledger are expected to arrive in New York on Friday in preparation for his funeral, a funeral home spokesman said. Ledger's body was taken to the Frank E. Campbell Funeral Home in Manhattan on Wednesday, the mortuary confirmed to CNN. No funeral arrangements have been made public.

The 28-year-old actor, star of "Brokeback Mountain" and the upcoming "Dark Knight," died Tuesday afternoon.

An autopsy Wednesday morning was inconclusive, and a cause-of-death determination will take 10 to 14 days, a medical examiner's spokeswoman said.

"There were no illegal drugs found" in the apartment, Kelly said on Wednesday. He said there were prescription drugs, in their bottles, not strewn around as previously reported.

Two law enforcement officials who asked not to be named said six types of prescription drugs, including an antihistamine and pills to treat anxiety and insomnia, were found in the apartment, according to The Associated Press.

A publicist for Ledger told CNN Thursday that the actor was suffering from the flu and had been prescribed antibiotics during recent filming for "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus" in London.

Tests on a $20 bill found at the Lower Manhattan apartment where Ledger died yielded no drug residue, New York Deputy Police Commissioner Paul Browne said.

The bill was collected to see whether it had been used to snort illegal drugs because of the way it was folded, New York Police Commissioner Ray Kelly said earlier.

New details are emerging about the moments before and after Ledger's death.

The masseuse who discovered Ledger's body at the apartment at 421 Broome St. in SoHo called actress Mary-Kate Olsen, a friend of Ledger's, twice before calling 911, a police source with knowledge of the investigation said.

A housekeeper, identified by the source as Teresa Solomon, arrived at the apartment about 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, the police source said.

She went into Ledger's bedroom to change a light bulb in an adjoining bathroom about 1 p.m., saw him on the bed face down with a sheet pulled up around his shoulders and heard him snoring, the source said.

Masseuse Diana Wolozin arrived at the apartment about 2:45 p.m. to give Ledger a massage, according to the police source. About 15 minutes later, when he had not come out of the bedroom and the door remained closed, she went in, saw him lying in bed, and set up a massage table nearby.

She shook Ledger, but he did not respond, so she used his cell phone to call Olsen in California, knowing Olsen was a friend of Ledger's, the source said.

Wolozin told Olsen that Ledger was unconscious, according to the NYPD source.

Olsen told her she would call private security people in New York. After getting off the phone, Wolozin tried to wake Ledger again, then called Olsen back to tell her she believed the situation was an emergency and was calling 911.

In the 911 call, at 3:26 p.m., Wolozin told authorities Ledger was not breathing. While on the phone with dispatchers, Wolozin tried to perform CPR on Ledger, but he was unresponsive.

Emergency personnel arrived seven minutes later, according to the police source, at about the same time as a private security person summoned by Olsen.

The medical technicians performed CPR on Ledger and used a cardiac defibrillator, but their efforts were in vain and he was pronounced dead at 3:36 p.m. By then, two other private security people summoned by Olsen had arrived, as well as police.

Olsen is not the apartment's owner, as had been reported, her publicist told CNN.

Ledger's family on Wednesday called his death "very tragic, untimely and accidental."

Ledger's former fiancee, actress Michelle Williams, returned with their 2-year-old daughter, Matilda, to her Brooklyn home Wednesday night. She has been filming a movie in Sweden.

Condolences poured in from Ledger's friends and co-stars.

"He was a wonderful guy, he was a wonderful actor, he had a wonderful future ahead of him, and I liked him," actor Eric Roberts said Wednesday on CNN's "Larry King Live."

Roberts worked with Ledger in "The Dark Knight," the latest installment in the Batman series. The film is to open in July.

The role as arch villain The Joker disturbed Ledger, according to The Associated Press. He called the character a "psychopathic, mass-murdering, schizophrenic clown with zero empathy."

"Last week, I probably slept an average of two hours a night," Ledger told The New York Times. "I couldn't stop thinking. My body was exhausted, and my mind was still going."

He said prescription sleeping pills didn't help, according to AP.

Ledger was born in Perth, Australia, and named Heathcliff Andrew after the main characters of Emily Bronte's "Wuthering Heights." He began acting at a local theater as a child.

Ledger's first American film was the teen comedy "10 Things I Hate About You" in 1999, and he immediately attracted attention from Hollywood. He passed up several scripts before taking a role in the Revolutionary War drama "The Patriot" in 2000 and "A Knight's Tale" in 2001. He also played a supporting role in "Monster's Ball," among other films.

But Ledger was perhaps best known for his 2005 portrayal of Ennis Del Mar in "Brokeback Mountain," about two cowboys who had a secret romantic relationship. The role earned him an Oscar nomination.

Asked how he felt about filming love scenes with another man, Ledger said he and his co-star Jake Gyllenhaal simply focused on their roles.

"We can't say that we weren't nervous about it," Ledger told Oprah Winfrey in 2006. "But once the first take was over, it's like, 'OK. So what? It's kissing another human being. How are we going to finish this scene? Let's get on with it and let's get out of here.' "

In light of Ledger's death, President Bush on Wednesday postponed an event surrounding the launch of a public-service ad campaign warning against the dangers of prescription drug abuse.

"We thought it would be better to postpone the event rather than run the risk of anyone thinking that we were being opportunistic in highlighting the issue," White House spokeswoman Dana Perino said.

It's all still hard to wrap my mind around. He was a phenomenal actor, who had barely begun to shine. There was so much more he could have done. I leave you with this scene from A Knight's Tale:

Blog frustrations

So, yeah, have to get this out of my system... My old blog, had a bajillion readers, which made this really fun, but I don't have any readers now, at least not vocal ones... So if you read my blog, leave me a comment, let me know. Pass me around to your friends like the town slut, I'm fine with that. I'm not advertising my blog to all of MySpace because my friends are mostly straight and wouldn't relate to my blog. And I don't want my friends list to blow up to have a million friends. I'm happy with this little blogger community, I just want my readers back! Anyway L Word Blog to come shortly if anyone is out there...
